APT, in collaboration with Standard & Poors and Aquin Components have launched RiskComply™, an online risk and compliance monitoring tool for the investment management industry. APT provides their stochastic multi-factor risk model and advanced component Monte Carlo methods to calculate the risk on which each compliance report is based. "RiskComply™ takes the same approach to risk measurement as that used by portfolio managers - there will no longer be a disconnect between risk/compliance reports and the portfolio construction process itself, as there has so often been before," says Jamie Ridyard, Managing Director of APT.

Singapore based insurance companies can use APT's optimizer to meet the market risk component of the Singapore Insurance Act's 2004 subsidiary legislation Total Risk Requirements. A feasibility study was performed by APT to determine which constraints set forth by this act could be represented and matched in an optimization job. Positions in equities, property, loans, and fixed income can be implemented in the APT Optimizer using simple linear constraints.
